How can I get my 16 year old son to stop watch Dora the Explorer?
My son get good grades in school, he is bright and intelligent but he is addicted in watching Dora the Explorer and other noggin shows. How can I stop him from watching these baby shows.
To tell you the truth I am 23 years old and is still in love with Tom and Jerry Cartoon.

I agree it's unusual for a 16 year old, but of all the possible things 16 year olds often do in this day and age, that is pretty benign.

You cant really force a 16 year old to quit watchin something unless you just take the tv away. But thats not really that bad. I guess if he likes it then good for him. I agree with the others, would you rather him watch those cartoons or smoke weed, drink, and get into alot of trouble. Just be glad that you have a good teenage boy!!

my sister is 13 and still watches all sorts of stuff like that… he is learning spanish from that show!! its educational… there's no filth.. just as long as he isn't still living at home when he's 30 watching it in his pajamas, i wouldn't worry! lol.
